Beats Fit Pro release date and price

Following its launch, the Beats Fit Pro come with two color option such as Black and white. It became available for purchase in the USA on November 5, 2021 for $ 199. But, it will be available internationally from January 28, 2022.

At their present price, they’re a little less valuable than the AirPods Pro, a bit more valuable than the previously released Beats Studio Buds. And are somewhere in the middle of the pack when it comes to other true wireless earbuds. For what you’re getting, it’s worth it – unusually considering the fact that they come with noise cancellation and H1 chips.

Beats Fit Pro: Design

Beats Fit Pro
The design of these air buds is very flexible.

The design of these air buds is very flexible. Speaking of such a case, the wing tip has been wisely placed in these earbuds. Normally, you don’t know How it happened. By making it a part of earbuds and giving it extra flexibility, it is able to latch on the inner ear to hold the buds in place.

In addition, many such earbuds may have used a wrap-around design in the past. This design is actually very relaxing and comfortable. There is something very stylish about the fin being straight and attached inside the ear.

Beats Fit Pro
two additional sets of ear tips of different sizes

It helps you get the perfect seal with your ear. The Beats Fit Pro box comes with two additional sets of ear tips of different sizes and you have to decide which one is the best fit. However, for comfortable, secure fit, gently twist earbuds back and tuck wingtips into upper ear. Additionally, because the fit was so precise it put a little pressure on the ear. Especially after wearing it for a while.

That’s particularly very important things to talking about….
Beats Fit Pro
workout enthusiasts

Because Beats Pro Fit is targeted for workout enthusiasts and it also comes with an IPX4 water-resistance rating which makes them sweat-proof. However, they are not waterproof, so be careful with them near the pool or on the beach. And also do not even resist dust, so keep them away from the sand.

Outside of each key is a touch control that lets you play or pause music and leave between tracks. Long hold ambient will turn on listening mode which will stop sound cancellation. While another long press will turn it back on.

Controls can be a bit sensitive so you have to be careful when you put an earbud in your ear and take it out of your ear. It’s very easy to inadvertently hang an important phone call or blast music in your ear without any meaning. To do that.

We’ll talk about them in more detail below but it’s worth noting here that there are a total of six microphones on both earbuds that help you raise your voice and block incoming noise. There’s also a redesigned driver and ventilation system that helps add weight to the bass range of sound, and here’s the H1 chip mentioned above that will enable a number of neat features for iOS devices.

Lastly, it is worth talking about a redesigned case that is much smaller than the case with the Powerbeats Pro. It slips easily into a pocket and feels nice to hold on to its smooth exterior.

Beats Fit Pro: Audio Quality

Beats Fit Pro supports exclusive audio with dynamic head tracking for immersive music, movies and games 1. Dynamic head tracking uses a gyroscope and accelerometer to adjust the sound. When you turn your head, to make you feel like you are inside it for a multi-dimensional experience.

In addition, it comes with Active Noise Cancelling features, which reduce unwanted ambient noise when making a call. In practice we found that they weren’t quite as adept at this as the Sony WF-1000XM4 or Bose QuietComfort Buds. But they do a decent job blocking out conversations happening in another room when you’re working from home. Also, it comes with transparency mode. This will keep you away from the people around you.

Furthermore, it has features High-quality call performance…

As far as call quality is concerned, the Beats Fit Pro use five of the six microphones to accurately portray your voice to your recipient and the results are good overall. People we spoke to said we sounded relatively clear, though the volume was a bit softer than when we used speakerphone.

What that tells us is that these earbuds probably won’t be the ideal solution for business professionals who need crystal-clear audio in their calls, but would be absolutely fine for someone who just takes the occasional call or two on their earbuds.

While Beats has designed earbuds to work with both Android and iOS devices, Android users will not be able to access the full suite of features. In particular, they will always be locked out of listening and auxiliary audio.

Considering how many earbuds don’t have access to spatial audio at the moment these aren’t deal breakers at all – and Beats makes a beautiful Android app that lets you customize their controls – but these snags can convince you to choose more. Instead an Android-friendly option like the Sony WF-1000XM4.

Beats Fit Pro: Battery Life

Beats Fit Pro
Fit Pro will last longer when the ANC is turned off

According to Beats, the Fit Pro has the best battery life of any of their earbuds – with the ANC you see about 6 hours per charge with 18 hours in the charging case. That’s about an hour and a half longer than the AirPods Pro, and a significant improvement over Apple’s flagship True Wireless earbuds.

Fit Pro will last longer when the ANC is turned off. However, if you’re using it to talk instead of listening to music, the battery life will be a bit shorter.

Overall, that battery life is the equivalent of other noise-canceling earbuds – which is great – and a little less than other true wireless earbuds without ANC.

The silver lining here is that the buds support fast charging. Which will restore the listening time to the charger after only five minutes to about an hour and will be fully charged in about an hour.

The only real disappointment on the battery life front is that the Fit Pro doesn’t support wireless charging like the AirPods Pro. Which means you always have to keep the USB-C charging cable close at hand when you want to recharge it.

Beats Fit Pro: Connectivity

Talking about the connectivity, the main reason you’re paying a bit more for the Beats Fit Pro than the recently released Beats Studio Buds is because the former have the H1 chip. That allows them to access hands-free Siri as well as spatial audio support on Apple Music, Apple TV and FaceTime.

Moreover, it come with a Bluetooth Support, with that you can connect your smartphone with a Beats Fit Pro. But it does not support the Bluetooth Multipoint like Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro wireless headphone.

Should you buy the Beats Fit Pro?

Buy them if…

You are a workout-loving iOS user

The goal for the Beats Fit Pro is demographically clear – it’s entirely aimed at people who want earbuds that can accompany them to the office during the day and to the gym at night. Preferably those will be iOS users who can use the hands-free Siri feature, but Android owners can also have fun.

You want the features of AirPods Pro at a low price

Between the H1 wireless chip and the active noise cancellation. The Beats Fit Pro AirPods Pro offers two of the best features at a big discount. Sure, the AirPods Pro still has wireless charging, but it’s a relatively small feature to lose.

Good battery life is paramount for you

While they don’t offer the best battery life of any earbuds on the market. Beats Fit Pro has a much better battery life by a much larger margin than Apple’s flagship earbuds.

Don’t buy them if…

You need to cancel the high-level noise

That said, we don’t think Beats offers the best active voice cancellation in the business. If you want to hear complete silence, we recommend a pair of Sony or Boss earbuds instead.

You want the best Android experience

The adoption of the USB-C, One Touch Pairing and Beats app on the Google Play Store has pushed Beats up and down to make Android users feel welcome. However, there is still no one-size-fits-all support for Android users or spatial audio support.

You have sensitive ears that may not enjoy the extra pressure of the top of the wing

The wing tip does its job, no doubt about it. But if you are like us & have very sensitive ears, extra pressure from the tip can be a little too much. Especially if you wear it for five hours or more a day.
