The Apple Watch SE is a version of the daily use Apple Watch and is available for SE models. The modular nature of the Apple Watch offers three stylish colors. You will get a powerful sensor for insights into your health and fitness. It also features innovative safety and better ways to stay connected. Moreover, by changing the strap and the watch face, you can go from casual to sporty to high fashion. This is true of every Apple Watch in the range, so there’s no need to buy a different model for different uses. Simply change the watch face from the app and purchase a new strap from the hundreds of options.

A faster dual-core processor for added performance. Apple Watch SE is feature-packed and now it’s a better value than ever. Let’s what is another exciting feature hiding behind the Apple Watch SE. However, I particularly have two or three saved faces options on my bucket list and also swap out my sports band for a Milanese Loop when I need to dress up a bit.

In addition, you can find all the main features in our Apple Watch SE, so here I’m going to focus on the things that make the Watch SE version unique and the reasons you might – or might not want to go for this version.

Apple Watch SE review: Price and Availability

The Apple Watch SE was released now and is available to buy from 16th September.  The price is starting from ₹29900. You can purchase this smartwatch from the company’s official website apple.com.

Who should have to buy this smartwatch?

  • Best for fitness lovers with the Workout app, which offers advanced fitness metrics like Heart Rate Zones, Stride Length, Ground Contact Time, and Vertical Oscillation.
  • A person with a health problem should buy this smartwatch to improve their health.

Apple Watch SE review: Design and Features

The look and feel of the Watch SE are similar to the watch Ultra and Watch series 8 version. These are light in weight and offer a premium look. Coming in both 44mm and 40mm versions, the only difference here I can see is the headband color, and button aesthetics. Not to mention, they have minor differences in size, but that doesn’t change much. However, the bigger display offers more space, which looks great. So, if you want to buy an Apple watch then make sure to go with a large screen.

Apple Watch straps are designed to be interchangeable in just a few seconds. With a wide assortment of styles and colors, including Nike bands, you can change your look in no time. This band is better than the regular model for working out, and the punched holes give a wider range of wrist widths if you need to tighten the band.

The Apple Watch SE is water resistant to 50 meters. Track your splits and sets in the pool. You can also Map your route in open water. Plus, you can also see accurate metrics even when using a kickboard. Whether you’re splashing, swimming or surfing, the water’s fine.

The redesigned back case is made with a new production process that reduces its carbon emissions by over 80%. It’s perfectly color-matched to the watch case, which is made with 100% recycled aluminum.

Apple Watch SE review: Watch Faces

Apple Watch SE

One of the most liked features of this smartwatch is its different watch faces– the straps can be bought separately. The Apple Watch SE comes with a brand new Nike Bounce watch face. As you move your wrist (or touch the screen) the digital numbers appear to wobble on the screen. You can even customize your own faces, rs, and styles without difficulty. You can even share faces with friends and family by email or text.

There are four other Nike watch faces available: Nike compact is a combination of widgets, much like the Modular compact face but with the Nike branding; Nike Hybrid, which is a branded version of the Color face with widget options in the corners; and Nike Digital, which combines a large digital clock with three main widgets. By default, this is the Nike Run Club, Activity, and Workout, widgets but the last two can be changed.

I reke Bounce’s watch face. It’s really clear to read and the styling is very impressive. This might be the only real reason to buy the Watch SE but it’s probably worth it just for that.

The most important features for car drivers. For the first time, Apple Watch SE can find out if you’re in a severe car crash. When a crash is tracked, Crash Detection can vitally connect you with emergency services, plus, notify your emergency contacts. Also, it uses the combined power of an improved 3-axis gyroscope and a new g-force accelerometer. That has the highest dynamic range of any smartwatch. It also uses a microphone, a barometer, and GPS. And the latest sensor-fusion algorithm trained on over 1 million hours of real-world crash data to detect if you’re in a severe crash.

Apple Watch SE review: Conclusion

The Apple Watch SE simply adds to the Apple Watch experience. You get the same great watch but with the addition of the Nike watch faces and the Crash Detection, I installed it for you, which is the first time included in the Apple watch.  If you like the look of the Nike branding, and you like to run, this option is an obvious choice as it won’t cost you a penny more.

Where this version is slightly limiting is if you want more choice over your case color or material. I’m a big fan of the stainless steel cases and unfortunately, they are not an option here. Of course, you can always choose a regular Watch SE model with a stainless steel case and swap it to one of the Nike straps when feeling sporty. The thing you’ll be missing is the Blood oxygen app and ECG app. They both are available in Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Ultra. This way, you can also have your formal strap and your ‘Sport’ strap options.
